Dolce & Gabbana The Eye Pencil: Chocolate & Bronzo

A while back I purchased a couple of the Dolce & Gabbana eyeliners and I've been using them fairly often (considering the amount of eyeliners sitting in my stash).

I picked up Chocolate (10) and Bronzo (15). Chocolate is (unsurprisingly) a dark chocolate shade that has no shimmer and Bronzo is a pale taupey champagne type shade.

I should have sharpened Chocolate - sorry!

Both of the shades swatch intensely and the texture is quite creamy, although Bronzo has more glide where as Chocolate is slightly firmer so I find myself pressing the pencil a tiny bit more on the skin. They don't have as much glide as some of the gel type pencil liners like YSL, however a plus side is that they do wear well and the colour doesn't seem to migrate and I can soften the line with the rubber tipped end.

I love both shades but Bronzo I tend to use only on the lower lash line to give a subtle brightening effect, and Chocolate I use all around as a softer alternative to black.

I bought these from the Dolce & Gabbana counter in Harrods.

Dolce & Gabbana Passion Duo Gloss Fusion Lipstick in Impact

Dolce & Gabbana Passion Duo Gloss Fusion lipstick in Impact (70)

A few weeks ago I was having a browse at the Dolce and Gabbana counter in Harrods and came across these incredible lipsticks. The Passion Duo Gloss Fusion lipsticks are like a lipstick/gloss hybrid as they have an intense hit of smooth and creamy colour with a glossy sheen.

I bought the colour Impact (70) which is a deep, slightly pink toned burgundy type shade.

This is the lipstick I'm wearing in my first smiley pic in my recent braces post (here) although it looks a little brighter in this pic as in reality it's a bit deeper like the tube and swatch pics.

I am really impressed with this formula and it matches the luxurious quality of the packaging. It's not particularly the most long-lasting because of the slight glossy quality, but the depth of colour achievable quickly is very good.

Dolce & Gabbana Intense Nail Lacquer - Rose 120

Dolce & Gabbana Make Up - when this launched last year I was excited about trying out this brand and absolutely adored the stunning visuals with Scarlett Johansson and gold packaging that I actually liked (usually I'm not a fan of the gold), but to be honest, when I went down to the counter I wasn't immediately blown away.

I came away with one product, and that was this nail polish lacquer in Rose (120). In the bottle it looks stunning, quite a unique rose pink shade with copper/gold shimmer running through it. This polish is excellent quality, probably one of the best formulas I've come across as it applies easily with a brush that is slightly wide. The consistency is slightly thick, but not in a horrible gloopy way so it is still fluid and applies without streaking. It is virtually opaque in one coat, dries pretty quick and lasts longer on me (about 3-4 days) with only slight tip wear. On top of that the packaging is gorgeous with an elegant, slighter taller-then-the-average-bottle size (which annoyingly is too tall to stand up in my polish drawer) and lovely engraved lettering.

At about £16 for 11ml it is expensive, but for me it is worth it as I prefer this formula. It's good to find something that lives up to it's luxe looks.
