Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencils Zaire & Ava

These Eye Intensifier pencils are definitely the stand-out product for me from Sue Devitt, and ever since I bought my first of these pencils in the shade Laos, I have wanted to try some (more like all) of the colours and when I was passing the counter at Harvey Nichols on Saturday they had some sets left which contained 2 of the Eye Intensifier pencils which worked out less then buying separately. In the set I got Ava which is a rich violet shade and Zaire which is a deep plum.

Swatched:
L - Ava , R - Zaire

I love how these are quick and easy to use and can be applied and blended with a brush. The texture is smooth, non-drying and the colours are rich and have a certain depth that really compliment the eyes. As I have previously mentioned in my post about Laos, these really stay put all day with minimal creasing - this really is the winning formula for me and my oily eyelids.

  1. Ava looks lovely! I'm guessing that QVC don't have the full range as there are only four colours listed. I wasn't sure whether or not they had a counter anywhere so it's useful to know you can buy in Harvey Nichols too. The colours are so rich and interesting. I'm definitely interested in trying more.

  2. Ha I have a love hate relationship with Sue Devitt. Love the colours and the products but hate the fact that the last time I went to HN in search of my beloved Becca stand...there was Sue Devitt in its place, I was devastated :-(
I do think that these pencils are a great easy smokey eye look and do seem to be easy to work with. Thanks for this. Jan x

  3. Hi Jane
QVC seemed to be slightly better priced - the sets seem like good value although the one I would have liked wasn't in stock.

    Hi Jan
The Becca counter in HN was a good one, their SAs are helpful but the one in Fenwicks is good as well. There used to be a few brands in HN that they no longer do which is a shame.
